Starting a scrapbook for a new born should be done before he is born. The reason being is that you want to have the pictures and everything set up so that you can record it as it happens. The baby's first smile, first time home, first bath, first tooth coming in, first birthday, etc. All these firsts are something you want to remember and be able to look back on forever, so its also a good idea to always have a good camera around.
